AMANDLA is an international social enterprise based in South Africa and Germany, which aims to create safe spaces that combine football and learning to empower the youth and change lives.

The award-winning Safe-Hub® Social Franchise Model is at the heart of AMANDLA’s work – a physically and emotionally safe space for young people where they can access services, opportunities and support from strong role models through a football-based after-school programme with a focus on health, education and employability.

Laureus SA co-funds components of the EduFootball Programme at AMANDLA’s Safe-Hub® in Diepsloot which will serve as a blueprint model and training site for other Safe-Hubs as they scale.
