BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB SA

Boys & Girls Clubs of South Africa (BGCSA) provides facility based after school programmes for school aged young people in those unsupervised hours when children are most at risk.

BGCSA provides structured programmes and creates positive spaces where children can explore their talents and abilities in a supportive environment.

Through their core programming pillars – education, IT & career, health & life skills, character & leadership, sports, fitness & recreation, and arts & culture – they aim to inspire the youth to reach their full potential as caring, responsible and productive citizens.

BGCSA’s 70 mentors reach approximately 1,800 children through their seven clubs (with plans to expand to more sites throughout Johannesburg), who sign up as “Club Members” as a way to illustrate that they are part of something bigger.
